Gary founded Heads Apart in 2012 and grew quickly as a leading relationship based sales specialized executive search firm. Prior to Heads Apart, Gary spent 20 years as a high performing digital media sales executive, including 10 years at Microsoft Advertising as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Over the course of his career, Gary has recruited sales talent for several high performance sales teams, accounting for revenue in excess of $700M.
Heads Apart has worked with clients in North America, EMEA, Latin America, Australia, Germany, and Denmark, functioning as a go-to-market strategic consultant with an emphasis on North American market entry and identifying the initial employees 1-20 at the startup early growth phase. These confidential startup engagements supported significant senior level hires and revenue performance that have contributed to several lucrative client exits.
Gary earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from the City University of New York (CUNY). Gary is also Chairman of the Board and Founder of JamaicaNation.org, a non-profit organization helping smart and ambitious underserved youth from Jamaica’s poorest rural communities with access to opportunities in technology, entrepreneurship and the innovation economy.
